The QPS2-C15MD3 is a combination PTC start relay and overload/overheat protection assembly designed primarily for Homa refrigerator compressors, and compatible with select models from brands like Haier or Hisense. 

Key Functions and Specifications

• PTC Starter: Uses a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) thermistor that acts as a heat-sensitive switch to momentarily energize the compressor's start winding, then cuts power to it once the motor is running. 
• Overload & Overheat Protection: Built-in safety switch cuts power if the compressor draws excessive current or reaches dangerous temperatures, protecting the motor from burning out. 
• Design: Plug-and-play black plastic housing with direct pin connections that push straight onto the compressor terminals.
